Payment Policy

Thank You For Allowing Metamora Equine To Serve You And Your Horse

Our Practice requires payment at the time of service. This policy is designed around a simple and straightforward approach to payment for your veterinary services. We encourage you to discuss costs in advance of treatment for your horse(s) so that payment follows as directly as the treatment that was provided. We accept Cash, Check (in US Funds), Visa and MasterCard.

Insured Horses: For insured horses, payment is still due at the time of service. We will submit your claims and assist you in any way we reasonably can to help get your claims paid. Your insurance company may need you to supply certain information directly. It is your responsibility to comply with their request. Please be aware that the balance of your claim is your responsibility whether or not your insurance company pays your claim. Your insurance benefit is a contract between you and your insurance company; we are not party to that contract. It is the horse owner’s obligation to collect from their insurance carrier.

Please understand ... If payment arrangements are not made in advance of the scheduled appointment, treatment will not occur.
